Doing chest mix and chest head was so smart, it really makes me feel when I add tension on my mix that the two sides of my throat flex and come together. And the head voice is just air pushing up from my diaphragm and tongue. And I lost it a few times on my mix but you reminded me to cry it and vocal fry it. How did you figure all of this out??? Its so amazing.

  2. Hey Heather! Now you’re digging in to the GOOD STUFF! I’m so excited for you! It’s taken me years of singing to find that ‘sweet spot’ in my voice that you are starting to discover. I’ll be honest, I still have to remind my body about these things almost every time I sing, but it has definitely gotten easier! KEEP IT UP!

  3. You are the MOST amazing instructor out there. I have tried every course from Brett Manning, Roger Love, Ken Tamplin, Bohemian Voice, 30-day singer, cheryl porter and many more, lol (as well as a few skype or in-studio lessons). You are the only one who can tell me what I should be doing and feeling, not just doing exercises. I would do these exercises all the time and then when I went to sing, I was so confused and didn’t know what to do. I just started the course, but I am running through the entirety of it because I like to see what to expect, see the whole picture. Then I will start with Week One. I am so excited and cannot wait to get to all of these sections.

  4. Wow Lea! Somehow I missed your comment in July…this absolutely makes my day!! Please keep me posted on your singing journey. If you want a free vocal assessment, please email me at michaellandsmusic@gmail.com and we can set that up. I’d love to help guide you through the program…I’m here for you! – ML
